Last year Bonnyville PONTIAC Aaron Irving was named the Edmonton Oil Kings team’s Top Rookie after leading all first-year Oil Kings with nine goals and 30 points. The 17-year-old defenceman has become a highly rated NHL prospect over the course of the season, ranked 119th among North American skaters at the Central Scouting mid-term report.
