The purpose of the Education Breakfast is to raise money for the Pontiacs Education and Scholarship Fund and also to expose our corporate partners in the Lakeland area to a motivational speaker. Yearly the Pontiacs spend approximately $25,000 on our player’s education through university courses, N.C.A.A. SAT Preparation courses and our community scholarships which are provided to graduating players that have volunteered their time and made a significant contribution to our community. As an organization we are focused on promoting both education and a strong sense of community involvement to our players and in turn make sure that their time in the Lakeland area is productive. We do this to ‘give back’ to the community that generously supports the PONTIACS and also encourage our players to return as productive citizens that can contribute to our corporate work force in the future.
