The Bonnyville PONTIACS are extremely proud to announce that 2001 born forward Ethan LEYER has made a commitment to the NCAA Division 1 St. Cloud University Huskies located in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Ethan LEYER, from St. Albert, Alberta is in his first year with the Bonnyville PONTIACS and last season played with the Northern Alberta Extreme in the CSSHL scoring 49 points in the Elite 15 Division.
Ethan LEYER has tremendous potential as a player. He plays with pace and 'thinks the game' extremely well. His biggest asset is his ability to make plays at high speed and his coachability is something that will allow him to grow into the player that St. Cloud projects him to be.
The Bonnyville PONTIACS, our fans and our community are excited to see Ethan grow as a player and as a person until he moves on to St. Cloud University. The Huskies are a member of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference and play at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
