Former PONTIAC Defenseman Max GOTTLIEB Signs with the AHL Ontario Reign

PROVIDENCE, R.I. ? Former Bonnyville PONTIAC and Brown University defenseman Max Gottlieb (Old Bridge, N.J.) has signed a tryout contract with the Ontario Reign of the AHL, the organization announced on Monday.

The team co-captain recently wrapped up his four-year career with ten goals and 50 assists for 60 career points in 118 games played. Gottlieb posted 16 points (5g, 10a) as a senior this past season and helped lead the Bears to the ECAC semifinals for the first time since 2013. A two-time All-Ivy selection, Gottlieb became the 43rd member of the program’s 50-assist club as a senior.

Max played for the PONTIACS during the 2013/14 season.

Ontario is the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings.
