The Bonnyville Pontiacs are excited to announce Cold Lake local Gavin Harrison has signed with the team for the 2025-2026 season.
“It’s nice to play in front of friends and family,” said Gavin Harrison. “Being close to home, nice teammates and a great coaching staff are the main reason the Pontiacs are the right fit for me.”
Harrison joins the Pontiacs following his rookie campaign with the U18 Northern Alberta Xtreme prep, where the 5’9, 157lbs forward played 36 games scoring 14 goals and 15 assists for 29 points.
“I’m excited to start winning with this team,” said Harrison. “Fans can expect playmaking ability and my best effort every game.”
“I would also like to thank my coaches I’ve had along the way; they have been a big part in helping me get to this point.”
A phrase the 16-year-old Harrison likes to live by is, “Be better everyday.”
The Bonnyville Pontiacs are excited to welcome Gavin and the Harrison family into the organization.
Fun Fact: Because the marketing guy was behind schedule writing this, the young Harrison already has three points after the Pontiacs first two games! (1G, 2A) Talk about a great start!
