The Bonnyville Pontiacs are excited to announce Kaegan Lowe has signed with the team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
"I believe that the AJHL fits my play style and there is a great culture here in Bonnyville," said Kaegan Lowe. "I am most excited to meet the fans and the community. I can't wait to take my hard work this offseason and put it on the ice.
"Fans can expect a high pace of play and a lot of speed. I love to be creative and create offence, but I also love to backcheck and make sure things are taken care of in the d-zone."
Lowe is coming off a strong rookie season in the SMAAAHL. Playing for the U18 AAA Battleford Stars last season, the 5'9, 161lbs forward produced 13 goals and 26 assists for a total of 39 points in just 44 games played.
A phrase the 17-year-old Lowe likes to live by is, “don't count the days, make the days count." A quote that sticks with Lowe because it reminds him that time is limited and everyday is a chance to get better.
"I'd like to thank my parents and family for all the opportunities, love and support they have given me," said Lowe. "I'd also like to thank my teammates, coaches and billets. None of my achievements would have been possible without them."
The Bonnyville Pontiacs are excited to welcome Kaegan and the Lowe family into the organization.
