PJ Marrocco scored a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over Lloydminster on Tuesday. The Edmontonian scored a hat trick on Friday in a 5-4 OT loss to Grande Prairie, and picked up the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game Award. PJ wrapped up the week with one assist in a 5-2 loss to the Whitecourt Wolverines on Sunday afternoon.
Marrocco, 20, leads the AJHL Scoring Race with 38 points (20 goals, 18 assists) and an average of 1.7 points per game. The third year AJHL veteran has scored 16 points in his last 7 games, including two hat tricks and four multipoint games.
