The Bonnyville Pontiacs are very excited to announce that 20-year-old defenseman Matthew MONK has committed to the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds (NCAA Division 3) located in Saratoga Springs, New York for the 2019/20 season. The PONTIACS are extremely happy for Matthew and his commitment is so well deserved. MONK, from Langley, British Columbia registered 14 points in 41 games, including 117 penalty minutes with the Pontiacs after joining the club following a mid-season trade.

Matthew MONK becomes the 59th player who has played for the Pontiacs and committed to play college hockey since 2013/14.
