Mitch FRITZ Commits to Saint John’s University for 2015/16

The Bonnyville PONTIACS are extremely proud to announce that twenty-year-old forward Mitch FRITZ has committed to the Saint John's University JOHNNIES of the NCAA Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the 2015/16 season.

Mitch is from St. Cloud, Minnesota and played 112 games for the PONTIACS scoring 60 points including a national sports television highlight goal against Lloydminster in this year's play-offs.

“I am extremely excited about Mitch and the opportunity that he earned to play for Saint John's University. He has worked extremely hard over the past two seasons and has had numerous NCAA offers and Saint John's is getting a great culture individual. Mitch is extremely committed on and off the ice and gives 100% to everything he undertakes,” says Head Coach and General Manager Rick SWAN. Mitch is an excellent person and he comes from an exceptional, supportive family. He has made a lasting impact on our community.

Mitch FRITZ is the 16th player to advance to the College level since 2014 which include seven NCAA Division 1 and two NCAA Division 3 scholarships.
