The Bonnyville Pontiacs are excited to announce Matteo Paradiso has signed with the team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
"The Pontiacs were the right fit for me because of the great history and support from the fanbase as well as the community," said Matteo Paradiso. "Fans can expect an exciting player that plays hard with emotions.
"I am very excited knowing that I'm going to be playing for such a great franchise with a great opportunity".
Playing for the North Shore Warriors U18 prep last season, the 5'9, 174lbs Paradiso tucked in 22 goals and 19 assists for a total of 41 points in just 36 games played.
Three words the 18-year-old forward Paradiso likes to live by are, "Passion, pride and courage," highlighting a great mentality for a young hockey player to be successful. It speaks to the reality that a player needs to have passion for the game, pride in the crest on their jersey and the courage to push past their limits when called upon.
"I'd like to thank Chad Nelson [Pontiacs general manager] and the Bonnyville Pontiacs for this opportunity," said Paradiso. "I'm going to give one hundred precent each and every game."
