PONTIAC Alumni Spencer FOO Nominated for the NCAA Hobey BAKER Award

PONTIAC Alumni Spencer Foo is one of 66 NCAA hockey players on the ballot for the Hobey BAKER Award. The Hobey Baker Award is an annual award given to the top National Collegiate Athletic Association men's ice hockey player. It has been awarded 35 times.

Spencer currently leads the Dutchmen in scoring with 11 goals and 12 assists and led the Bonnyville Pontiacs in scoring in 2013-14, scoring40 goals and 27 assists for 67 points in 60 games. In his final year with the PONTIACS Spencer finished as the sixth-leading scorer in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Spencer played 127 games with the Bonnyville PONTIACS from 2012 to 2014.

Spencer has been selected as one of 66 candidates for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. The field of candidates will be narrowed down to 10 players on March 16th.
