The Bonnyville Pontiacs have acquired Defenseman Ben Costantino and traded forward Brayden Gourley in a three-way multi-league trade, involving fellow Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) team the Lloydminster Bobcats and the Melville Millionaires of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).

The Bonnyville Pontiacs acquire Ben Costantino (from Lloydminster), the Lloydminster Bobcats acquire Jadon Iyogun (from Melville), the Melville Millionaires acquire Brayden Gourley (from Bonnyville).
Joining the Pontiacs
Hailing from St. Albert, AB, the 20-year-old Costantino split last year between the Lloydminster Bobcats (AJHL) and the Elmira Aviators of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
Prior to heading off with the Bobcats, the 6'4, 215lbs, Costantino was an alternate captain for the Aviators (NAHL), scoring 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points in 27 games played.
After joining the Bobcats (AJHL), Costantino finished off the season with 25 games played and scoring another 10 goals along with 15 assists for 25 points.
Exceeding his point per game average, the veteran defenseman produced two goals and four assists for six points in four AJHL playoff games to finish off the year.
The Pontiacs are excited to welcome Ben and the Costantino family to the organization.
Leaving the Pontiacs
Brayden Gourley joined the Pontiacs shortly before the December holiday break last season, starting off great with one goal and two assist in his second game with the Pontiacs.
After some injury troubles following the holiday break, the 5'9, 155lbs Gourley went on to finish last season with four goals and six assists for 10 points in 24 games played with Bonnyville.
Following opening weekend of the 2025-2026 year, Gourley had one assist in one game with the Pontiacs.
