On Saturday December 7th the Bonnyville PONTIACS were extremely pleased to be a part of the Annual local RCMP and Emergency Services Charity Check Stop along Main Street in Bonnyville. With a combined effort of RCMP, Emergency Services, Bonnyville Fire, SADD and volunteers toys, non-perishable food items and money were collected to give to families and services in need.
The players braved the cold weather to take part in this worthwhile event that brought a tremendous amount of exposure to the dangers of drinking and driving and raised funds for a tremendous cause.
Head Coach Rick SWAN was arrested as part of the fun event and raised $500.00 bail to give towards families and services in need.
