The Bonnyville Pontiacs are excited to announce Jovan Sandhu has signed with the team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
"Bonnyville is the kind of place where hockey really matters, and I want to be a part of that," said Sandhu. "Fans can expect a versatile, competitive, highly skilled, two-way powerforward who can be relied on in all areas of the ice.
"The Pontiacs have a great reputation for developing high-level players and maintaining a strong competitive culture. I also feel it's the best environment for me to grow on and off the ice because of the amount of community support."
Hailing from Surrey, BC, Sandhu joins the Pontiacs following his rookie campaign with the U18 HC Edmonton club, where the 6'1, 190lbs Forward produced 17 goals and 14 assists for a total of 31 points in 29 games played.
"I'm looking forward to meeting my new teammates and coaches," said Sandhu. "I'm ready to get involved in the Bonnyville community and play in front of the fans.
"I would also like to thank the Pontiacs organization for giving me this opportunity as well as my family, coaches and teammates for all their support."
A phrase the 17-year-old Sandhu likes to live by and describes his mentality is, “How you do anything is how you do everything."
