The Bonnyville Pontiacs are excited to announce Evan Schulha has signed with the team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
"Talking with Chad Nelson throughout last season really pulled me towards the Pontiacs organization," said Evan Schulha. "The history in Bonnyville really speaks for itself. The reputation that comes with the Pontiacs is something every player wants to be a part of.
"Fans can expect a solid defenseman that can also produce offensively. A reliable, puck moving player that isn't afraid to play physical."
Schulha is coming off a strong second season with the U18 St. Albert Raiders last season, where the 5'11, 194lbs Defenseman produced 9 goals and 19 assists for a total of 28 points in just 38 games played.
"I am super excited to get on the ice with my teammates and start the season," said Schulha. " I'm looking forward to creating new relationships with the people of Bonnyville. I want the fans to know how excited I am to play for them and I hope they are just as thrilled to come out and watch."
A phrase the 18-year-old Schulha likes to live by is, “if nothing changes, nothing changes."
Schulha noted, "I would like to show my gratitude to my family for helping me be where I am today and my trainers at Absolute Performance for preparing me for this upcoming season."
