Brady BAKKE Commits to the Concordia University College THUNDER

The Bonnyville PONTIACS are proud to announce that twenty-year-old forward Brady BAKKE will be attending the Concordia University College of the A.C.A.C. to play for the men's THUNDER hockey team next season.

Brady played three seasons (2012 to 2015) with the Bonnyville PONTIACS appearing in 149 games scoring 15 goals and 34 assists. Prior to playing for the PONTIACS, Brady was the team captain with the Midget AAA Red Deer Chiefs who captured the Telus Cup National Championship.

“Brady is one of the smartest players that I have had the privilege of coaching. You know what to expect of him every day in terms of his great work ethic, 'team first attitude,' and his character. Brady has made a significant contribution to the community of Bonnyville and our organization. It has been a pleasure to work with him everyday and I am extremely excited about his opportunity to play for the Concordia THUNDER next season,” says Head Coach and General Manager Rick SWAN.

The Bonnyville PONTIACS organization, our amazing fans, our generous sponsors and our community, wish Brady all the very best success in the next chapter of his life academically, with hockey and as a person.

Brady BAKKE is the 14th Bonnyville PONTIAC player since 2014 to move on to play at the college level.
