Halloween is a night of fun and fright in the town of Bonnyville, but it does require extra caution when it comes to keeping our youth safe. According to Safe Kids Worldwide, “on average, twice as many child pedestrians are injured while walking on Halloween compared to any other day of the year, and the Bonnyville PONTIACS have teamed up with our local RCMP to ensure that this fun-filled night is a success.
The PONTIACS manned the major intersections as well as walk the highest pedestrian areas for over 10 years and this event with the players has become a staple in the Bonnyville community.
