The Bonnyville PONTIACS are pleased to announce that former Bonnyville PONTIAC Evan WARMINGTON is one of eight AJHL Alumni who have been selected for The Friends of the AJHL Hockey Society Scholarship.
The Friends of Alberta Junior Hockey Society Scholarships are awarded to players, game officials and therapists who distinguish themselves in their pursuit of academic and athletic excellence.
Evan WARMINGTON was a huge part of the Bonnyville PONTIACS franchise record play-off run last season. He played 42 games in a PONTIAC uniform scoring 13 goals and 25 assists for 38 points. Prior to ending his Junior 'A' career in Bonnyville, Evan played three years for the Whitecourt WOLVERINES and one season with the Spruce Grove SAINTS.
Evan currently plays for the University of Alberta Augustana VIKINGS of the ACAC.
