PONTIACS defenceman Brinson Pasichnuk have been identified in the NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings at #115 among North American Skaters for the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Brinson was previously ranked at 147th in the mid-term report climbing 32 spots. Pasichnuk participated in the CJHL Prospects Game in January 2016 and was a member of Team Canada West who won a gold medal along with teammate Bobby McMANN in this past World Junior 'A' Championships.
A total of 83 players have been drafted directly out of the Alberta Junior Hockey League in its 52 year history.
The 2016 NHL Entry Draft will be held from June 24–25, 2016 at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York.
