Mark has been a coaching and industry leader for the past 30 years and has been lucky to be a part of numerous championships (American Hockey League, Western Hockey League, Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference).
Mark is also currently the Senior Advisor of the Prince Albert Raiders in the Western Hockey League. A role he retains while working for the Pontiacs.
Maloney has received accolades and inductions for his leadership work, commitment to both youth sport, leadership and his community mindset. Mark’s entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to found sport academies across Western Canada; enabling young student athletes the opportunity to pursue their dreams and passion in sport.
Mark resides in Calgary with his wife Loretta. His son Connor is presently coaching at the University of Nebraska Omaha (NCAA Division 1) as the Student Manager of Hockey Performance and completing his MBA. His daughter Katie recently graduated from Plymouth State University where she played hockey for five seasons.
