Be a difference maker in your community! We would not exist without the tremendous support from our families and indivduals who selflessly dedicate their time and effort to support us.
Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs volunteers are integral members of the team, who demonstrate commitment and passion to helping our youth and community through the greatest sport on earth.
As a community owned and operated not-for-profit organization, we rely heavily on volunteers to support our mission, vision, gameday's and purpose through a variety of roles. Our fan experience, gameday operations and more all benefit from volunteer involvement.
Whether volunteers keep our fans safe during games, run our scoreboard, keeping their tips for excellent service in the Yak shack, throwing t-shirts to cheering kids during giveaways, or help keep things organized and running smooth at the front gate, volunteers make a difference.
Pontiac volunteers are dedicated to providing a safe enjoyable place for our community to be active. They take the initiative to deliver exceptional guest experiences, share ideas to aid in innovation and provide warm, welcoming smiles along with crisp high fives to all they meet.

Volunteer Positions Overview:
Security
As security you will be provided with a red jacket and assigned a rink enterance point for the night. Security ensures that fans have went through the front till and gotten their stamp, along with encouraging patrons to follow the rules of the arena throughout the game.
Front Till Cashier
As a front till cashier, you will sell tickets and accept payments using cash, credit or debit. We open the front tills roughly one hour prior to game time and run all transactions through a square till for ease of use. We typically cashout the Front Till by the end of the second period, depending on foot traffic.
Front Till Scanner/Stamper
As a front till scanner/stamper you will scan tickets and stamp hands once they have paid at the front till.
Goal Judge
Notify the referees when a goal occurs by pressing a button whenever the puck crosses the goal line while the play is active.
Penalty Box Helper
Open and close penalty box doors throughout the game as required.
50/50 Seller
Using our all in one Pax machines, we sell 50/50 tickets to our fans during our home games and some special events. We take debit, credit and cash and only ever need one handheld device to make it hapen. 50/50 sellers are typically asked to show up to the Pontiacs office 30 minutes prior to the start of the game, last call is always at the start of the third period and we close down the 50/50 after our sellers make one last lap.
