Here is a sneak peek of the 'one of a kind' tribute jerseys to be worn by the PONTIACS in tonight's match-up against the Okotoks OILERS.
The Oil and Gas Industry plays such an important role in the Lakeland Community. The men and women that work and live here contribute so much to the economy. They are fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, mentors and volunteers who contribute greatly to our community on a daily basis. The Oil and Gas companies also give back a tremendous amount to charities and non-profit community organizations to ensure that a better way of life is achieved to the people who live in this area.
The jerseys will be auctioned off and the entire proceeds will be presented to the Bonnyville Health Foundation at this year's Annual Hospital Gala. Over the past five years the Bonnyville PONTIACS have raised over $50,000.00 to the Bonnyville Health FOUNDATION for hospital equipment and upgrades as a result of their Annual Tribute game.
