The Atom team had the honour of hosting Captain of the Bonnyville Jr A Pontiacs Steenn Pasichnuk, Assistant Captain Brinson Pasichnuk and goaltender Gunnar Nielsen last Thursday at their hockey practice Thursday Feb. 11.
The Atom team got the honour of hosting Captain of the Bonnyville Jr A Pontiacs Steenn Pasichnuk, Assistant Captain Brinson Pasichnuk and goaltender Gunnar Nielsen last Thursday at their hockey practice Thursday Feb. 11. The kids truly had a blast with the Pontiac players running them through drills, scrimmage and autograph session to close out the evening, but the fun wasn’t over yet as they brought some tickets with them for the game the next evening which at least a dozen young Panthers attended and got RSVP’d to the Pontiac dressing room to meet the rest of the players and hang for a bit. On behalf of the atom Panthers we’d like to send out a huge thank-you to Mike Pasichnuk for making this a possibility, Steenn, Brinson and Gunner for their great kid handling skills, Coach Rick Swan and his team for being such gracious hosts, truly a class act!!! The Pierceland Panther organization would also like to congratulate Steenn and Brinson on their scholarships to ASU where they will be playing for the Arizona State University Sun Devils NCAA Division 1 hockey, we wish you boys the best!! Thank-you Pontiacs and good luck with the rest of your season, we’re pulling for you!!
