It is with great sadness to hear of the passing of our friend Walter Stanley Cabay of Bonnyville, Alberta at the age of 91 years.
Walter will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Joanna, his children; Joe (Roseile) Cabay, Jim (June) Cabay, Helen Cabay and Irene (Ed) Skarsen, 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Walter was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Helen Cabay and siblings, Caroline, Mike, Bronek, Leo, Peter, Jenny and Mary.
Walter was an avid fan, volunteer and friend of the Bonnyville Junior 'A' PONTIACS. He was extremely popular with the players and always had a smile and encouraging word to give. He was simply a Cadillac of a human being.
On behalf of the Bonnyville Junior 'A' PONTIACS, although no words can really help to ease the loss of such a great man, please know that Walter will always be very close in every thought and prayer with our entire organization. There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are Walter, you will always be in our thoughts. Thank you for all that you have done and will continue to do in heaven!
