Walking to Stop Violence

November is Family Violence Prevention Month in Alberta and to 'kick off' the importance of creating awareness to stop domestic violence the Columbus House of Hope and FCSS held their 5th Annual “Walk of Hope” in St. Paul.

The Bonnyville PONTIACS were extremely privileged to be a part of the “Walk of Hope” as young leaders in our community to help stop domestic violence. It is young leaders that can have a profound influence in encouraging others to “stand up” and “speak out” against violence in our society!

The Bonnyville PONTIACS have taken the pledge to “never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women and girls.”

Thanks to the coaching staff, Bobby McMann, Cory Santoro and Joey Desrosiers for taking part.
