Thomas Kohler who is from St. Thomas, Ontario played for the Bonnyville PONTIACS during the 2012/13 season playing 61 games scoring 2 goals and assists 20 assists prior to moving on to the University of Guelph Gryphons Men's Hockey Team. Tom spent the last four years with the Gryphons men's hockey team, appearing in 118 games and was part of the Gryphons squad in 2014-15 that were crowned OUA Champions and CIS bronze medalists. A 6-foot-5, 220 lbs defenceman, has become the third Gryphon men's hockey player to sign professionally following the team's 2016-17 season. Kohler is heading overseas to play with SC Langenthal in Switzerland.
Prior to attending the University of Guelph to study Social and Applied Human Sciences, Kohler suited up for the Bonnyville Pontiacs in the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
