Bonnyville PONTIACS forward, Brandon Whistle, was named the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week for the week of November 16th – 22nd, 2015. Whistle scored 4 goals and 6 points in 3 games played and extended his point streak to 4 games.
Brandon Whistle (Kelowna, BC) was rewarded as the Viterra AJHL Star of the Game on November 20th versus Spruce Grove after recording 1 goal and 2 assists in an OT defeat. He also scored 2 goals in a shutout loss earlier in the week against Whitecourt. The 17 year-old rookie has 16 points (7G, 9A) and is among the Top 10 in AJHL Rookie Scorers.
Brandon joins team mates Brinson PASICHNUK (also Player of the Month) and Steenn PASICHNUK who have been awarded the honor this season.
