The Bonnyville PONTIACS would like to congratulate 17 year old defenseman Brinson PASICHNUK on his commitment to the University of Vermont. Brinson is from Bonnyville, Alberta and last season he was nominated for the A.J.H.L. Most Outstanding First Year Player and was selected as the team's Top Rookie.

His compete is elite and his development as a player over the year, last season is a real testament of his coachability, his character to 'want to be a hockey player' and the potential that he has moving forward. He is a great athlete and young man who succeeds at anything he does. As an organization, we couldn't be happier for Brinson and the PASICHNUK family as well as the town of Bonnyville,” says Head Coach and General Manager Rick SWAN.
The Vermont Catamounts men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Vermont. The Catamounts are a member of Hockey East and play home games at Gutterson Fieldhouse in Burlington, Vermont.
Vermont has appeared in the NCAA Men's Hockey Championship five times including trips to the Frozen Four in 1996 and 2009.
Brinson PASICHNUK is the fourth player on this year's roster committed to an NCAA Division 1 school and is the 24th college commitment since the 2013/14 season.
