CNRL Anti-Bullying Night A Huge Success

The Bonnyville PONTIACS would like to express their sincere appreciation to CNRL and the PONTIAC fans that came out to support the “Be a Buddy and Not a Bully Night” in their game against the Brooks BANDITS.

The 1200 fans in attendance were at the game to not only support the Bonnyville PONTIACS, but to show that violence is unacceptable in our society.

Those in attendance who wore pink were eligible for great door prizes.

The Bonnyville PONTIACS provided CNRL presentations, focusing on “Respect – It's the Name of Our Game,” to 1000 students in the Lakeland area in January and February. Students were provided with special made calendars, “Stop Bullying” wristbands and free PONTIAC game tickets.

The PONTIACS beat the Brooks BANDITS 4-3 in a shoot-out and the fans were treated to an exciting game of AJHL hockey.

After the game the PONTIACS signed autographs on the Tercier Motors PONTIAC Posters provided to the fans who attended the game.
