The Bonnyville PONTIACS players worked as hosts, servers and bus boys at this year's Annual Bonnyville Health Foundation's Hospital Gala.
On behalf of the Bonnyville PONTIACS, Captain Steenn PASICHNUK donated a cheque for $6500.00 obtained from the proceeds from our Mark LETESTU Tribute jersey sales, to the Bonnyville Health Foundation. An additional, limited addition, Mark LETESTU Tribute jersey was donated for the gala as well for auction, with proceeds also going to the Health Foundation.
This year in total, the PONTIACS will have presented close to $10,000 to the Bonnyville Health Foundation. Over the last seven years the Bonnyville Junior 'A' PONTIACS have given over $70,000 to this incredibly worthy cause.
This year's funds will be focused on purchasing equipment to help re-establish gynecology and obstetrics services at the Bonnyville Covenant Health Centre.
