Pontiacs Rookie Nicolas Beaudoin Awarded AJHL Player of the Month

On December 2nd, 2022, Bonnyville Pontiacs rookie forward Nicolas Beaudoin was awarded the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for the Month of November.

The 04-born rookie produced 10 goals and 14 assists for 24 points in 11 games played this past month. In addition, Beaudoin also won the Viterra AJHL Star of the game 3 times this November.

The 5’9, 165lbs forward was held off the scoresheet in just two games through the month. He recorded eight multi-point games, including two four-point performances and four two-goal games.  Beaudoin scored two game-winning goals, adding to his season total of four game-winners.

Beaudoin was awarded as the Pizza 73 AJHL Player of the Week for the week of November 7th-13th and was then recognized as the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week the following week.

The University of Alaska Fairbanks (NCAA Division I) commit is seventh in the AJHL Scoring Race with 40 points (20G, 20A) and leads all AJHL rookies in goals. The St.Paul, AB native has stepped up in a big way this season and the Pontiacs along with the Lakeland couldn’t be happier.

The Pontiacs next game is tonight December 2nd, at 7:00pm against the Blackfalds Bulldogs at the Eagle Builders Centre. Beaudoin and the Pontiacs will be back at home on December 4th as they take on the Lloydminster Bobcats at 2:00pm for their Teddy Bear Toss night.
