Spencer FOO will be one of 37 NHL hopefuls attending the Calgary FLAMES Development Camp on July 4th. This will be Spencer's second NHL Development Camp as last summer he attended the San Jose SHARKS camp after having a spectacular rookie season with the NCAA Division 1 Union College DUTCHMEN of the ECAC Conference.
In Spencer's first year with Union he was named to the “All-Rookie ECAC Team” and this past season was a Hobey Baker nominee for the Most Outstanding Player in NCAA college hockey.
Spencer played for the PONTIACS in 2012/13 and 2013/14 leading the team in scoring in his nineteen year old year with 40 goals and 27 assists.
The PONTIACS organization is tremendously excited for Spencer and his opportunity with the Calgary FLAMES organization and continue to wish him the very best in 'showing his stuff' to the FLAMES organization.
