AJHL leading scorer and Princeton University commit, Maxwell Pendy, is the Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week after scoring three goals and collecting eight points from November 10th-16th, 2025.
The Bonnyville Pontiacs forward extended his active point streak to eight games and 13 points after hitting the scoresheet in all three games last week. On November 11th, Pendy recorded two assists in an 8-4 loss to the visiting Devon Xtreme. The Pontiacs moved back into the win column with a 5-2 road win over the Lloydminster Bobcats on November 14th. Pendy (2006) scored a goal and two assists to earn recognition as the Bunge AJHL Player of the Game in the win. He recorded a second three-point game the next night, this time with two goals and an assist, in a 5-4 final versus the Grande Prairie Storm and was again awarded as the Bunge AJHL Player of the Game.
Maxwell Pendy leads the AJHL with 36 points (13G, 23A) in 19 regular season games and has four game winning goals for the Pontiacs.
Pontiacs defenceman Ben Costantino is the Alberta Ford Dealers AJHL Defensive Player of the Week. The 2005-blueliner had four points (2G, 2A) in three games played and is now second among AJHL defencemen with 18 points.
Costantino (St Albert, AB) built a three-game point streak starting with a goal in the Remembrance Day matinee versus Devon, then added an assist in the road win over Lloydminster before recording his sixth powerplay goal of the season and an assist at home against Grande Prairie. Ben is fourth in team scoring with 18 points (9G, 9A) in 17 games played.
For a second consecutive week, forward Ryder Riedel has been selected as the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week. The Olds Grizzlys newcomer has recorded points in all six games played and added five points (2G, 3A) in two games last week.
Reidel (2007) was awarded as the Bunge AJHL Player of the Game after posting two assists and scoring the overtime game winner in a 5-4 win versus the visiting Drumheller Dragons on November 14th. The Didsbury, AB forward received the honour again the next night with a goal and an assist in a 6-3 road loss to the Camrose Kodiaks.
