Bonnyville PONTIACS Main and Bantam Elite Camp – August 28, 2020

Hoping that everyone is well and in good health.

The Bonnyville PONTIACS completely understand that there is so many important things to focus on right now with the COVID-19 pandemic and those affected by the virus and the absolute heart-wrenching tragedy that occurred in Nova Scotia.

I know first-hand the incredible sacrifices that our front-line emergency service workers selflessly give to humanity and there are no words that can reflect the appreciation we have for all that they do for us. The extraordinary commitment by all front line workers to keep us safe and healthy at this time are above and beyond expectations and we are truly grateful for all that you do.

In Nova Scotia, on behalf of the Bonnyville PONTIACS, my sincere and heart-felt condolences go out to the victims of this crime, and to their families and police officers who have had to witness such an unforgiving tragedy. Heartfelt grief and broken-hearted are thoughts directed to the innocent victims, the families and friends of those lost. No one can comprehend a more horrific situation for the RCMP to deal with and RCMP Constable Heidi Stevenson made the ultimate sacrifice.

With the assessment of the Coronavirus / COVID-19 disease and the subsequent decisions and sanctions from Hockey Canada all summer camps are cancelled.
