The Bonnyville PONTIACS organization want to congratulate Redford SWAN on playing his 200 AJHL game in a PONTIAC uniform against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons on January 14, 2014. SWAN has 10 goals and 46 assists as well as 302 minutes in penalties in 202 games.
SWAN joined the PONTIACS organization in 2010 as a 17 year old and has been an assistant captain for the past two seasons.
Associate Coach Larry DRAPER says “not too many players have the opportunity to achieve Redford's accomplishment of playing over 200 games with the same junior organization. Redford is a student of the game and his character and coachability is off the charts. He has all the necessary skills and leadership to be a top player at the college level and he will be a very successful person in life.”
Only Jordan KRANKOWSKY (219) and Ryan DESJARLAIS (214) have played more games in a PONTIAC uniform. If SWAN plays the remainder of the 2014 season's games he will have played 216 in a PONTIAC uniform. Great job Redford once again on your accomplishment on behalf of the organization, our fans, our sponsors and the Bonnyville community.
