The Bonnyville PONTIACS Annual “Tribute Game” is fast approaching.
This year’s tribute will “Honor our Community Heroes.” It will be a night to commemorate the brave men and women who support and protect our community to make it safe and healthy and allow it to grow in positive directions.
An acknowledgment to those members of the local R.C.M.P., Firefighters, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the Lakeland District Area will be celebrated through a ‘one of a kind jersey’ reflecting all three services to be worn by the players of the Bonnyville PONTIACS during their game against the Okotoks OILERS on January 19th, 2013.
A Silent Auction will take place during the game for the game worn jerseys and proceeds will be donated to the Bonnyville Health Foundation. The game itself commends the hard working men and women in uniform for the incredible positive impact that they make on our citizens each and every day.
