The Bonnyville PONTIACS advanced to the AJHL North Division Final by defeating the Lloydminster BOBCATS in their best-of-seven Division semi-final match-up.
The PONTIACS will play the Spruce Grove SAINTS who defeated the Sherwood Park CRUSADERS, 4 games to 2 in their respective Division semi-final match-up.
This is the first trip to the North Division Finals for the Bonnyville PONTIACS in their franchise's 23 years. The Bonnyville PONTIACS also set franchise records for having the strongest second half, for single game attendance of 2030 and for 50/50 jackpot prize.
The North Final begins in Spruce Grove this Friday.
