The Bonnyville Jr A Pontiacs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) are seeking a passionate and skilled Play-by-Play Broadcaster to join our team for the upcoming 2025-2026 AJHL season. Be the voice that brings Pontiac action to life!
We are open to applicants interested in handling:
· Home Games
· Road Games
· Or Both
This is a contract position for the duration of the season, including all 54 regular season games, with the potential for exhibition and playoff coverage as well.

Title: Play-by-Play Broadcaster
Location: Bonnyville, Alberta (Home & Road Games)
Contract & Compensation: seasonal contract position, compensation will be based on the successful applicant’s experience.

Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver engaging and professional play-by-play commentary for Pontiacs games (home, away, or both)
· Manage all gameday broadcasting duties
· Assist with real-time social media updates during games
· Travel with the team to all 27 road games across Alberta (meals and accommodations provided)

Qualifications:
· Experience in sports broadcasting or a relevant post-secondary education in broadcasting/media
· Strong knowledge and passion for hockey
· Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills
· Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
· Proficiency with broadcasting equipment and streaming platforms is an asset
· Social media savvy, especially during live events
