The Bonnyville Pontiacs have acquired Parker Rolston from the Winnipeg Monarch (formerly Freeze) in exchange for Future Considerations.
Hailing from Winnipeg, MB, the 19-year-old Rolston is coming off his first full season in the MJHL. Rolston played 26 games for the Monarchs last year, scoring five goals and assisting in seven more for 12 points.
The 6’3, 194lbs forward played his first 17 Junior A hockey games with the Virden Oil Capitals of the MJHL, amassing three points in 17 games as a rookie before moving onto the Monarchs later that year.
Prior to Rolston’s MJHL rookie season, he played for the Winnipeg U18 AAA Thrashers, suiting up for 88 games and producing 10 goals and 21 assists for 31 points over the course of two seasons.
The Pontiacs are excited to welcome Parker and the Rolston family to the organization.
